Sweet Grass Dairy was born in 2000 when Al and Desiree Wehner decided to focus their farming efforts on producing handcrafted cheeses which would highlight the delicious, grass-based milk which their cows were producing. In 2005, their daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Jeremy Little, took the reins of the business, yet remained loyal to the vision of cultivating an inspired, American food culture. They have done this by handcrafting a variety of flavorful, high-quality cheeses from the milk of healthy, barn-free cows which graze year-round on green grass under the Georgia sun.
